MICROSENS

Microsens presented the server version of the management software – Microsens Managment Software, which is available for ordering.

NMP (Network Managment Platform) provides a graphical interface for centralized administration of all Microsens network components. The server-based database provides network administrators and customers with independent web access to all applicable network information.

The new version enables network administrators to more flexible access to network resources, configurations, and reserved work. The server version enables secure web access with administration and support through both Smart Phone & PC tablet.

The server version of NMP software allows up to 50 administrators to simultaneously access the system and automatically recognize when a device is configured from different locations. The server version allows to store information about group of devices, configurations, and topologies, including a history of changes stored in an SQL database. This allows system administrators to have documentation of all network configuration and topology changes.

Supporting practical features such as control and upgrade firmware and automatic tracking and updating device configuration in the group makes it easy for administrators to recover and work.

The NMP software monitors the end-to-end provisioning of the Microsens Optical Transport Platform, each individual service being configured only at the start and end points. All intermediate systems are automatically configured by NMP software.

The Microsens NMP platform is available for Windows Server 2003/2008 version with 5 clients. The license also includes one-year support for upgrades to newer versions of the software.
